Mac or PC? To be or not to be?

I had some really nice discussions on-the-job last week. While I’m ‘doing the things I do’ on a brand new, shiny, 20″ iMac; there are a few guys who just don’t get it. They are all talking about their Windows-desktops, what they’ll do with it, or don’t and asked me a question about my computer. Mac-geek as I am, just told them that a Mac isn’t a computer. As I think of a computer, I think about a tower, with loads of wires on to it, a dull monitor on top of it, but hey, that’s my vision of a ‘computer’. You should have heard them… But still, with respect, everybody have it’s own opinion… What’s yours?

I can tell you, that the cross-over from PC to Mac was the next step. It was a step with great consequences, cause I can’t imagine that I should be working on that lame PC with windows on it. It’s so much more capable, so much faster, and on top of it, there aren’t any real threats for a Mac. Allright, sure there are some, probably, but not as much as for a regular Windows-Machine.

Did I convince you at some points, but you still haven’t enough money to buy your own iMac?
please follow this link. Maybe this will do for ya!

It is better than Windows anyway!

Keep you posted (from my own, shiny iMac! :) )

Macintosh or shortened Mac is the name for a serie of computers, which are introduced
by the American company Apple. The first Macintosh was born as a cheap follow-up for the ‘Apple Lisa’, a computer which contained a visual and mousecompatible userinterface already, and which was already one-step ahead, but which also wasn’t really loved cause of the ridiculous amount of money, you had to pay for it. The Macintosh was called that way by Jef Raskin, whom named it after his favorite apple, the McIntosh. To prevent serious problems with the big American audio-brand McIntosh, They spelled it like MacIntosh.
