iPhone-app-rankinglist

Hola, compañeros!

Since august of the beautiful year 2008, I decided to get myself a iPhone 3G. I had a iPhone already, but that was a old one, and the 3G seems way better then the older one. It quite is, but I have to admit: the first generation iPhone was better in more than a few ways. First of all: the coating. Nowadays it’s just plain plastic, but the first generation was made of titanium (or something like that!). With all benefits with it.
But never the less: I’m still glad with my 3G iPhone, although I surely wanted the 3GS as much!

The fun part of an iPhone, in every-which way, the first generation, the 3G or the 3GS, are the apps… And everybody is using some different kinda apps.
Which one is more useful? I’m quite curious… For now, I made up my own ranking list…

Here it comes:

1. Dropbox

2. Ping! Lite

3. Tweetdeck

4. HeyWAY

5. Remote

6. Funambol

7. Shazam

8. Zoek en vind (only for the Dutch!)

I even put the direct links with it, so it’ll show you the place to find on iTunes…
Enjoy!

I proudly present…

My works pays off! Some of my illustrations are showed in a canvas-web-shop.
This means more illustrating to keep up the works, and show it to the world!

The funniest is the description of me.

Che Guevara style
You shouldn’t expect a Argentine Guerrilla, which can illustrate quite nice too, Until you see Toni Massaar at work. Latin-tones with the smoke of a good Cuban Sigar and a nice glass of Rum, are the ingredients for the perfect illustrations.

Some examples of Guerillamarketing

I’m having a terrible, splitting headache, and like some of you probably will ask me, I don’t have a hangover, I wished I would have. It would be a lot easier. I’m just worrying too much. So I’d figured, it would be great -since I can’t get to sleep before 01:00- to search for some fun. I’d read a book a few years ago, which explained something about Guerilla Marketing. At first, since I’m not a real
reader, I thought it was a book about Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara. But never the less: It wasn’t. Not really… It was about some concept-thinking, and how to use the fantasy of people for their own commercials. After a few pages, it bored me, and I putted the book aside. After a few days, I started reading again. And after a few pages, it became clear, how they meant it. I saw some hilarious pictures. For an example: Take this photo. It clearly says enough, don’t it? It’s hard, but true though… Smoke smells, and is quite a nasty habit. I’m a smoker myself, but there were several moments that I tried to quit. Maybe this is the way to quit smoking after all; Smokers smell. Yeah; that’s right. they do…
Another example tells us a story about abuse in the normal life, and that you never can’t tell who’s doing it, simply because you won’t be able to see it, when you’re around. It always happens behind closed doors, and if the woman is stupid enough, she stays with him, out of love. I can’t get that by the way, but they do. Although; some of them.In this add (in a busstop) you can see how they’re trying to make obvious how abuse works. Quite effective and confronting, but it happens every single day… It’s good to think about it… The most funny concept of Guerilla-marketing was another one; nothing to do, with heavy stuff like the two, I’ve earlier mentioned, but still; It’s not about the product, but about the way you present it. It’s about a new coffee-shop (in the Netherlands, these coffee-shops are places where you can do your legal grass by the way…), but they wanted to get the intention, and they did! Splendidly well! Check this one out; its really funny, and the concept is brilliant! As you can see: It pays off to be funny with adds. The funnier they will be, the more attention you’ll get. And if you do well, the people, like passengers, customers, guests, will be complimenting you on your well-done job. They will remember these ways of advertising, and even make photos of it, to show their relatives and friends. These ways, are the best way to get great attention, sell your product, make people smile, and hopefully, they will scare away a splitting headache as well… Let’s hope so. At least I hope you’ll get your laughs also… For more examples, surf here! There are millions of quite funny examples, and the not so-funny as well, but that depends on your way of humor, I guess… I think it’s the best way of advertising anyway… They should use it more often!

See ya!
